Human nutrition and food are related with essential nutrients in food that are necessary to for human life and
health. OR Diet that is necessary
for our body health. Our Body needs
some essential nutrition that is necessary for our health. Poor nutrition causes damage and linked to
poverty, food security or a poor understanding of nutrition and dietary practices.
Not only physical fitness mental fitness is also related to our Diet. Good
nutrition is necessary for children to grow physically, and for normal human
body development. The human body contains chemical compounds such as water,
carbohydrates, amino acids fatty acids, and nucleic acids. These compounds are
composed of elements such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and
phosphorus.
Essential Nutrients for Human Body:
There are Seven Major nutrients that is very important for
human body carbohydrates, fats, fiber, minerals, proteins, vitamins, and water.
Human Body contains around 60% to 65% water according to different studies. So
water is very Important Water also maintains balance of fluids in our body and
helps us to function properly by our body parts. Carbohydrates are fuel for our
body. It contains energy that is used by our body .Carbohydrate is stored in
our as a fat which provides energy when it needed. Some of healthy
carbohydrates are potatoes, fruits and vegetables etc. Fibre is type of
carbohydrate that body cannot digest. Instead it helps in digest of foods and
it cannot converted into sugars. Fibre is found in fruits and vegetables.
Protein is macro nutrient that is essential for muscles. It is usually found in
animals sources but other sources also contains high proteins. Your body needs protein to build and repair muscles. Body also uses protein to make micro nutrients,
hormones, and some chemicals. Protein helps in building blocks of bones, muscles,
cartilage, skin, and blood. Protein boosts our metabolism. Meat chicken egg albumen
(white part of egg) and milk. Fats or lipids contains a lot of energy there two
of fats .one that is good for health is comes mostly from plants. Good fats
decreases cholesterol and decreases chance of heart attack. Some example of
good fats are Olive oil fish dark chocolates and eggs etc. Vitamins are
necessary to grow normally some vitamins are very important because human body
cannot make it and some are very important. There are 13 essential vitamins. For
example A, C, D, E, K and the B vitamins: thiamine
(B1), riboflavin (B2). Which is found in carrot potatoes apple orange and other
fruits and vegetables are sources of Vitamins
